You can make this a crockpot pinto beans recipe very easily. To do this, you will use pre-soaked beans. Soak the pinto beans for 8 hours or overnight and then add all the ingredients to your slow cooker. Cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours, until the beans are fork-tender. Reduce heat when the beans are ready if it's not time to serve the beans.
How To Quick Soak Beans
If you are making this recipe in your crockpot and don't have time to soak your beans for 8 hours or overnight, you can use the quick soak method instead.
