- Water
- Salt

How to Make
First you want to rinse your rice in cold water. The water will look milky, this will help to remove excess starch.
Then dump the rice into your pressure cooker. Add water, oil and salt.
Place lid on pressure cooker making sure your valve is set to sealing. Pressure cook 5 minutes on high.
Once your timer is done allow the rice to natural release for 10 minutes. Then safely push off remaining steam.
Remove lid, fluff rice, and serve perfect and easy jasmine rice!

Storage
If you want you can save any leftover rice in the fridge for up to 5 days. The rice can dry out a bit so add a little water and stir before heating.

Tips For Making Rice

Ingredients
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 15 ounce can pineapple chunks, optional
- Green onions, for topping
Instructions
- Pour rice into the instant pot. Add in water. Add in pineapple. Do not stir.
- Place the lid on the instant pot. Set the valve to the sealed position. Press the manual button or pressure cook and then cook on high pressure for 6 minutes. Do not release the pressure let the pressure natural release for 30 minutes. Once that is complete so is the rice.
- Remove lid and fluff rice with fork mixing in the pineapple. Serve topped with green onions.
