Fettuccine with Chicken

We're talking about a plate of extraordinary deliciousness dished and ready to serve up for dinner. This version is made in an Instant Pot, so it's a one pot meal that takes the hassle out of making dinner.

Best Fettuccine Alfredo Chicken Recipe

We've made a few different recipes with Alfredo sauce, and they are all good. They are all a little bit different, but they are all great to serve up to just the family or a group of guests.

We especially enjoyed this Copycat Crab Alfredo we made not too long ago, which uses a little bit of a lighter Alfredo sauce. It calls for half and half instead of heavy whipping cream for a lower calorie alternative.

We're all about taste-testing copycat recipes. And any of these recipes would be phenomenal as starters and side dishes to serve with our Instant Pot Chicken Alfredo.

We've got a delicious Copycat Zuppa Toscana Soup Recipe that is a delicious appetizer. And you can't go wrong serving up either Copycat Rosemary Macaroni Grill or Copycat Breadsticks alongside your main dish.

When it comes to pasta, this is seriously one of our favorite recipes.

The Taste of Baked Chicken with Alfredo Sauce

Cooking is meant to be fun, but its also good when you can find ways to reduce your time in the kitchen because as much as we'd like to think otherwise...there isn't always all that much time to spend cooking.

Busy weeknights get even busier when the school year starts back up each year. And that means less and less time for cooking meals that you and your family will enjoy.

We've really been enjoying our instant pot because it offers a time savings in the kitchen.

It also allows people to cook with more whole food ingredients without taking hours and hours to make a meal. That is something we can all get behind.

Dinner time is something that is meant to be enjoyed around the kitchen or dining room table.

When you're super busy during the week, with after school activities and the like, it's helpful if not essential to try to cut down on actual dinner prep time in order to spend valuable time with your family.

And, don't forget to cherish that time with your family when you can because kids grow up way to fast and before you know it everyone in the family is going in different directions.

Instant Pot Supplies

  • Kitchen Scale- A kitchen scale is a must to have for so many recipes in order to have accurate measurements. This is something that is often overlooked in recipes.
  • Meat Thermometer- Having a meat thermometer is essential. I have gone through so many 'inexpensive' thermometers that I finally invested in a heavy duty digital thermometer from BBQ guys. It was so worth it!
  •  Instant Pot Inner Pot - I like to have an extra inner pot available because of how much cooking I do in my Instant Pot. It comes in handy when I want to put a lid on the inner pot and refrigerate the leftovers, or mix up ingredients the night before to save time at the end of the day.
  • Silicone Lid for Instant Pot- I'm not sure how I lived without this one. Having a silicone lid for my Instant Pot has made life so much easier. It is perfect for adding ingredients a day or two ahead of time.
  • 101 Instant Pot Recipes for Beginners-  If you are new to pressure cooking, this is a great ebook to get you started with basic recipes you will use over and over again.

After a plateful of this delicious Chicken Alfredo Pasta, you'll want to save a little bit of room for dessert.

We can't get enough of Hazelnut Cheesecake Layered Icebox Cake, if you're looking for a recipe to serve up for dessert. We also really enjoy our Banana Cream Dessert.

Both of these are excellent choices for a tasty dessert idea.

  • Can my dog eat Chicken Alfredo Pasta? Due to the delicate digestive system of your dog, it is not recommended that he consume sauces as heavy as Alfredo Sauce. Also, your dog could be lactose intolerant. Something you can give your pet (in moderation) is plain fettuccine noodles, as long as he or she is not allergic to gluten. Also, you can give chicken pieces without sauce or seasonings.
  • Can my cat eat Chicken Alfredo Pasta? You shouldn't give Alfredo Sauce to your cat, because it contains fat and calories overload, also, most cats are allergic to lactose ingredients. Regarding pasta, as long as your cat doesn't have a gluten or wheat allergy, pasta is a good choice because it's usually made with very simple ingredients like flour, water, and eggs which are all good for cats. Also with chicken, your cat will love a piece of chicken without sauce or condiments.

  1. Hi--I'm a little bit confused. Are you suggesting to place the steamer rack directly on the head conductor (without the inner pot), then place the inner pot on top of the chicken? If I did that, my lid certainly would not close. If that's not what you mean, could you clarify the instructions? I'm new to the IP, so there might be something that I'm missing. Thanks!
