Instant Pot Asian Beef Bulgogi Bowls are a tasty Instant Pot Asian dish that taste incredible served over rice. A soy sauce-based beef dish with spring onions, brown sugar, and more!
This Asian Bulgogi is really simple to make. If you want a new and different ground beef Instant Pot recipe, try it. If you love the combination of sweet and savory flavors in recipes, it is a must make.
Jasmine rice is my preferred rice to make with this beef dish. If you have a second Instant Pot, you can easily toss your rice to cool and begin working on your beef.

How To Make Asian Beef Bulgogi Bowl
Start by putting your oil and beef in the Instant Pot. Saute and cook your meat until it is crumbled and no longer pink. You will want to add in your onions
While your meat mixture cooks, whip up the sauce with the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine.
When your meat is cooked stir in the sauce, and continue to saute until the mixture thickens.
Serve over rice, quinoa, lettuce, etc.
Can You Cook Frozen Ground Beef In Instant Pot
You can cook frozen ground beef in the Instant Pot. For a pound of frozen beef you will add in water, and place your meat on a trivet.
Cook for 20 minutes followed by a 5-minute natural release. Open the pressure cooker and use forks to shred the meat. If not fully cooked, then drain water. Turn saute on and finish cooking your meat.
Can I Substitute With Other Meat
Go right ahead and reach for ground turkey, chicken, or even pork in replace of the beef. You will cook this dish the same way, just swap out the meat.
The biggest thing is ensuring your meat is fully cooked.
What Is Coconut Aminos
Coconut Aminos is made from sugar and fermented sap from coconut palm. This sweet, smokey, and mild flavor is a great alternative to soy sauce in recipes. You can interchange the two ingredients if you need.
Is This Similar To Mongolian Beef
Mongolian beef is similar to this Asian beef dish. Mongolian beef to me carries a bit more of a kick from the Sriracha and other ingredients used.
I also tend to use shredded beef in replace of ground beef.
Is spring onion and green onion the same?
Spring onions, green onions, and scallions are essentially all the same, but the flavor components are different. You will buy depending on the age of the plant. Spring onions are more round.
Now reach for classic green onions if your store does not have spring onions or you don't have any fresh from the garden.
