Once the burgers are done, do a quick release of pressure. Carefully remove the burger patties from the aluminum foil.

Now in a bowl add your Thousand Island dressing with mustard and mix. Spread on the bottom of the bun.

Stack onions, lettuce and a slice of cheese. Then place one patty on the cheese and add a second bun.

Spread more sauce on the bun, repeat onions and lettuce, pickles. Then a second beef patty.

Top with your sesame seed bun and pair with sides of your choice.

How to Make Mac Sauce

Big Mac sauce is very easy to make. I used Thousand Island dressing in a little mustard. Mix it up and it is ready to spread on your easy sauce for your sandwich.

This copycat big mac sauce is similar to what you get at McDonald's.

Can I Make This As Just A Simple Hamburger Patty Recipe

If you don't want to make these into Big Macs you can go ahead and cook these hamburgers in your pressure cooker. Season how you would like, wrap in foil, then pressure cook.

Assemble with your favorite toppings, and dive into juicy flavorful burgers.

Can I Make Fresh Beef Patties

You can use ground beef that you make your own patties or you can buy pre-made patties to save you for prep work.

Why Do You Sit Burger Patties on Trivet?

You need to have your burgers sitting out of the water in the bottom of the pot. The reason being is if you don't the hamburger patties will boil, instead of steam cook the way they need.

Make sure if you don't own a trivet you make some aluminum foil balls to stick in to allow your hamburgers to sit out of the water.
