Stir to combine. Set the valve to "sealing".

Start the Instant Pot in manual mode for 2 minutes at high pressure. Release the pressure naturally and then carefully open the Instant Pot when the pressure has all released.

Switch the Instant Pot to saute mode. Saute for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Once most of the liquid has evaporated and the Apple Pie jam has thickened, turn off the Instant Pot. Store the jam in jars and refrigerate for a week or two.

Storage

Store your jam in the fridge until you are ready to use. You can store the apple jam in the mason jars, or any sealable container.

I find glass jars are best as they don't take on other odors from the fridge and change up the flavor of your jam.

You can also freeze this jam if you don't eat it all right away. Store in proper containers and freezer for 3-4 months.

Then when you are ready to eat some, place in the fridge and allow it to thaw 1-2 days.

Tips and Tricks For Recipe

  • I recommend peeling the apples, as you get the best texture to the jam.
  • You could do a variety of apples. Some green apples, yellow, and even some red ones. This will help add a lot more elements of flavor. Sweet, tangy, and a little sour if you use green apples.
  • Dice apples uniformly so you can get an even cook.
