Storage

Store your jam in the fridge until you are ready to use. You can store the apple jam in mason jars or any sealable container.

I find glass jars are best as they don't take on other odors from the fridge and change up the flavor of your jam.

You can freeze this jam if you don't eat it all immediately. Store in proper containers and freezer for 3-4 months.

Then, when you are ready to eat some, place it in the fridge and allow it to thaw for 1-2 days.

Tips and Tricks For Recipe

  • I recommend peeling the apples, as you get the best texture to the jam.
  • You could do a variety of apples. Some green apples, yellow, and even some red ones. This will help add a lot more elements of flavor. Sweet, tangy, and a little sour if you use green apples.
  • Dice apples uniformly so you can get an even cook.
