Why Air Fry Hot Dogs

  • flavor similar to grilled

Cooking in an air fryer is so convenient. I use my Ninja Foodi Grill air fryer a lot. I also use my Instant Pot air fryer lid when I make Cherry Cobbler or chicken wings and want to pressure cook a recipe and air fry to finish it off.

How To Make

What I love about my Ninja Foodi grill is that I can make a super quick lunch easily. For hotdogs, I just preheat the air fryer for a few minutes and then add in the hot dogs. 5-6 minutes cooking time and they are done! Just like that.

Notes

Variation:

  • This Latin variation may surprise you by the number of ingredients it brings, but give new flavors a try and you won't regret it.
The Latin-style hot dog has previously cooked sausage, finely chopped white cabbage, sometimes smaller grated carrots, diced onion, crispy potato chips, pink sauce, mustard, garlic, or mayonnaise sauce, tomato sauce (ketchup ), and grated cheese. And depending on where you go, they get more creative and include avocado, bacon, hand cheese, tomato, lettuce, corn sauce, and even hot sauce.
  • Tip: Instead of adding everything to the hot dog before serving, place small pots of each ingredient on the table so that everyone adds to their liking. This is great fun for kids too!
